Oct 10 (Reuters) – U.S. Representative George Santos was strike with extra prison costs on Tuesday, with prosecutors accusing him of inflating his campaign’s fundraising figures and charging marketing campaign contributors’ credit cards devoid of their consent.

A 23-rely superseding indictment submitted in federal courtroom in Central Islip, New York billed the embattled Prolonged Island congressman and his previous treasurer, Nancy Marks, with falsely telling the Federal Election Commission (FEC) that their family users experienced produced sizeable economic contributions.
